Book Review Policy

I do accept review requests. I generally read a lot of YA. My genres are pretty diverse. I rarely read non-fiction and if I do, I will not be posting any review on this blog. My reviews for non-fiction will be strictly on my Goodreads.

I write a lot of single book reviews. You can head over to the book review page and see all of my reviews listed alphabetically. I also do recommendations post where I recommend books in batches. I also have my opinions of those particular books on those posts.

I normally will showcase my reviews on this blog. But some of the books I've read before starting this blog would be on my Goodreads.

If a book is particularly awful or boring, I will DNF it. I don't like DNFing books but if it comes that, I will. I also will write a negative review if a book is bad. Please check the disclaimer down below!

~Book Review: Emmy & Oliver~

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.75) My Thoughts:      I had such a fun time reading this book! After reading the synopsis, I was hooked. It sounded like such a cool concept and the book did not disappoint. Emmy and Oliver were childhood friends and they had a chance of becoming something more . But Oliver was kidnapped by his dad and now, ten years later, Oliver came back and it's a wild mess of pesty reporters and family drama. Old romances rekindled but Oliver wasn't the same seven-year-old boy who left anymore.      Emmy was one of the main characters (hence the name of the book) and while she wasn't the one kidnapped, her whole life was affected by it. She grew up watching reporters and police come and go, but none was able to find Oliver. She spent ten years hoping—like everybody else—that he would come back home. ~Quarantine Reads!~

Hi! I know these are tough times right now that we're going through, but look on the bright side...there's more time to read! I would definitely take a regular day over more time to read any day. I miss things the way they are. That is not the point of this post, though. Over the past few months since quarantine has started, I have read a ton of books. Some were okay while some I fell absolutely heads over heels in LOVE. While I can't technically go out to the local library and borrow some books, my kindle has made it SO much easier to read. 1. Moment of Truth by Kasie West      Kasie West is definitely one of my all-time favorite authors. She writes contemporary YA romance stories and they are amazing. I don't want to hype it up too much. If you read one of her books and it's not your cup of tea, it's completely fine. I enjoy her books so much. They are cute while having a lot of good messages in them.
